Cruise to Ambleside or Lakeside  £295

We'll depart from our moorings at Windermere Marina Village and head South toward Lakeside, or North toward Ambleside. You choose, or we can help you based on what you want to get out of the experience.

Heading North we'll pass the majestic Belle Isle, then Bowness, White Cross Bay, Brockhole, Wray Castle, Langdale Chase, Low Wood, and Ambleside. This section of the Lake offers stunning scenery - headlined by the fabulous Langdale Pikes.

Heading South we'll pass Ramp Holme, Storrs Hall, Ling Holme, Lazy Bay, Beech Hill Hotel, Tower Wood, Costrells Rocks and Lakeside. This tends to be a less busy route than heading North, but offers some equally stunning scenery.

We may not be able to dock on one of the jetties, but conditions permitting we may be able to drop anchor so that you and your guests can sit back, have a drink and a bite to eat and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The cruise would typically last around 2 hours.

A cold buffet can be arranged if required - please contact us with your requirements and we will arrange to provide a quote.

We're not licensed to sell or serve you alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own! Of course, we need to ensure the safety of passengers and other lake users - and so if you've had a few too many before we cruise we'll have to leave you behind (or cancel the cruise with no refund). Likewise if you or one of your party becomes too inhebriated whilst we're on the cruise we'll have to abandon the event either at the nearest public jetty or back at the Marina - again with no refund.

Fees. The agreed fee covers the chartered cruise cost for the boat, Skipper, mandatory safety equipment on board such as life jackets, fuel, insurance, cold nibbles & soft drinks, and car parking for up to 2 cars at Windermere Marina Village. Additional parking is available at Ferry Nab – charges apply. Items not covered within the chartered cruise fee are as follows: alcohol, hot drinks, cold or warm buffet (though this can be arranged for an extra fee – and cold buffet is included in the Full Lake Cruise option), and anything else not stated as included.

Cancellation. If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled cruise date we're unable to offer a refund. In the event that weather or technical issues results in us needing to cancel your event, we will endeavour to provide you with at least 24 hours notice if possible, and of course you'll be offered a full refund or we'll try to reschedule. Where a chartered cruise is cancelled as a result of one of The Group being deemed unfit to travel for any reason, such as being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the chartered cruise will be cancelled and no refund will be payable. The Skipper’s judgement is final and non-negotiable.
